This album was produced during Paul's world tour, which lasted for about a year from September 1975 to October 1976, with 64 shows in 12 countries. It only reached number 2 in the UK, but since he was on tour in the US at the time of its release, it stayed at number 1 in the US for 7 weeks. It was the album that Paul had the most number 1 hits since The Beatles broke up.
