A masterpiece of 80's idol pop, with delicate voices and subtle emotions.
A single by Hori Chiemi. "Machibouke" is a melancholic pop song by Matsumoto Takashi and Miki Takashi. "Shiawase wa Mosaic" has a warm worldview and conveys her natural charm.
In "Waiting for Love," the acoustic guitar and rhythm section gently intertwine, while Hori Chiemi's voice exudes a subtle emotion. Matsumoto Takashi's lyrics and Miki Takashi's melody blend together to carefully portray the lingering afterglow of love and the subtle loneliness of the moment. The B-side, "Shiawase wa Mosaic," is a complete change of pace, with brighter lyrics and a striking melody that seems to capture the small joys of everyday life. The strings used by arranger Hagita Mitsuo are also excellent, adding a soft glow to the entire song.
