A must-listen for fans of rare groove, as well as modern soul and AOR! A soulful and mellow sound that is comparable to that of John Valenti.
It features a gatefold jacket that faithfully reproduces the original, and includes four additional bonus tracks that were previously only available on CD releases (first time on LP), as well as a two-disc set on clear colored vinyl that recalls the green of the jacket, making it the first time it's been released on LP!
Eric Tagg, who attracted attention in the early 80s for participating as a singer and songwriter in the work of Lee Ritenour, a famous jazz/fusion guitarist. His soulful, warm and expansive singing voice has captivated many listeners, but his greatest appeal is his outstanding songwriting! The album is harmonious in perfect balance with the light bass line by his brother Larry Tagg, stylish horn section and strings, light piano phrases scattered throughout, and Eric's vocals, and the sound is full of mellow feeling throughout, making it a masterpiece among masterpieces that represents 70s blue-eyed soul! For this release, four bonus tracks that were previously only included on the CD version have been added, and the album has been reissued in a clear colored vinyl 2-disc set reminiscent of the refreshing green of the jacket.
