The guitar tone is aggressive yet transparent, creating a sense of intricate atmosphere throughout. Electric and acoustic instruments intertwine, with shifting rhythmic patterns and spatial manipulations skillfully incorporated. Akira Takasaki's exceptional phrasing does not flaunt technique, but rather aims to portray the flow of the sound itself. Oriental scales and quiet intervals are interspersed throughout, bringing a sense of spiritual unity to the entire work. This instrumental album retains the structure of rock while also possessing a meditative depth, blending technique and sensibility at a high level.
