The music magazines "Teen Beat" and "Music Life" both devoted a full page to the band in their December 1967 issues as "Star Highlight" and "VIP of the Month," respectively.
Needless to say, the catalyst for her breakthrough was the growing popularity of the film of the same name, "Keep the Sunshine in Your Heart," in which she herself starred, along with the wonderful theme song she sang.
