A step beyond the peak of Britpop. Suede's own "sound laboratory."
A late 90s urban rock aesthetic that exudes decadence and sensuality.
Suede's fourth album, "Swede," continues the legacy of their previous work, incorporating electro and dance beats. While retaining vocalist Brett Anderson's sensual voice, the band's sound has evolved into something more urban and airy. Even in the waning days of Britpop, this album demonstrates their continued commitment to new challenges.
