A 7-inch of brilliant disco-funk
Ralph Carter's "Extra, Extra" has the glamour and tension of 70s disco.
Carter, also known as an actor, has a youthful voice that, combined with the funky arrangement, heats up the dance floor. It's fun to compare the standard version on side A with the disco version on side B, and you can really sense the producer's ingenuity. While a minor release, it's a good example of the diversity of the disco scene at the time.
