Pioneer of Korean pop music in Japan
Cho Yongpil brings a uniquely Korean emotional expression to the Japanese market.
This album represents the debut of a Korean artist in Japan in the 1980s. His unique singing style brought a fresh stimulus to the Japanese music scene. The A-side, "Omoide Mayoko" (Maybe Lost in Memories), expresses the turmoil of the heart with a sorrowful ballad, while the B-side, "Nakasarettatte" (Let Me Cry), has a more pop feel. His vocal ability to transcend language barriers and appeal to listeners is particularly noteworthy.
