The driving ska sound of the Wailers' early days
A rare 7-inch single released in 1966, on the eve of reggae.
This recording was made when Bob Marley's Wailers were still playing ska and rocksteady. "Rock Sweet Rock" and "Jerk In Time" give a sense of the foundation that would later lead to reggae. They fully demonstrate the youthful energy and rhythmic sense unique to Jamaican music.
